The Service is intended for users age 17 and older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 17 years old.

2) The Service

When life feels heavy, having someone to talk to can make all the difference. Latee connects you with supportive AI mentors who are available 24/7 to listen, guide, and help you feel better—no appointment needed.

The Service may change over time. We may add, remove, or modify features, and we may suspend or stop the Service in whole or in part.

3) Account registration and security

You may need an account to access certain features. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information (including name/username/email) and keep it updated.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5) Your content

You may submit content through the Service, including text, images, and customer support messages ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display User Content solely to operate and provide the Service, including generating outputs you request.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit User Content and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.

6) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities;
• harass, threaten, or exploit others;
• upload content you do not have the right to use;
• attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its security;
• access or use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it;
• use automated means to access the Service except as permitted by us; or
• use the Service to develop or train competing products, including by scraping outputs or data at scale.

7) Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we may process information as described there.

8) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms, or if we must do so to protect the Service, users, or comply with law.

Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and general terms.

9) Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Latee Team or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you, no rights are granted.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

10) Third-party services

The Service may interact with third-party services (for example, device operating systems or app store services). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

11) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Latee Team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13) Governing law and dispute resolution (binding arbitration)

These Terms are governed by the laws of our principal place of business, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action, except where prohibited by applicable law.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the Effective Date when changes become effective. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
