- Customer support: content you send to us (e.g., messages, attachments, and related information you provide when requesting help).

- Device information: device model, operating system version, language, app version, identifiers (as permitted by your device settings), network information.
- Usage data/analytics: feature usage, in-app actions, time and frequency of use, performance metrics.
- Crash logs: diagnostic data to help identify and fix errors.
Location information (with your permission)
If you grant permission, we may collect location information that may be precise or approximate, depending on your device settings. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.

4) AI features and your content
Latee provides supportive AI mentors that can listen, guide, and help you feel better—no appointment needed.
4.1 What we process
Depending on what you choose to share, the Service may process text you enter and images you upload for the purpose of generating responses or outputs you request.
4.2 Where processing happens
If you upload text and/or images for AI-related features, that content is processed on our own servers (not on third-party AI providers).
4.3 No sharing with third parties
We do not share the text or images you upload for AI processing with any third party.
4.4 Deletion after processing; you control uploading
You control whether to upload content and whether to generate AI outputs. Unless you choose to save or submit the content to customer support, we delete uploaded text/images used for AI processing immediately after the requested processing is completed.
5) Photos / face data
If you upload photos or images:
- we do not perform facial recognition;
- we do not create or use biometric identifiers or biometric information;
- we do not use images for training or marketing;
- image processing is one-time for generation purposes and then deleted as described above; and
- where applicable, outputs are stored locally on your device by default.
6) How we use information
We use information to:
- provide and maintain the Service (including account creation, authentication, and core functionality);
- personalize your experience (such as saving preferences);
- improve and develop the Service (including analytics, performance, and quality improvements);
- ensure safety and security (fraud prevention, abuse detection, protecting the Service and users);
- communicate with you (service messages and responding to requests);
- provide customer support; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
8) International data transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other lawful mechanisms.
9) Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate), access controls, periodic security reviews/audits, backups, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10) Data retention
- Account information: retained for the duration of your account.
- Account deletion: we delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days, unless we must retain certain information for legal, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.
- Usage data/analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
- Customer support content: retained for up to 6 months.
11) Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/ object to certain processing, and withdraw consent (such as for location access).

12) Age requirement (17+)
The Service is intended for users age 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 17. If you believe a user under 17 has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date when changes become effective. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by law.
